Loves the moon. Loves the Spirit.
Loves love and food and roundness.

Monday's Daybook

FOR TODAY August 4, 2008
Outside My Window...
it's dark. The windows are closed because the air conditioning is on. It was a hot day!

I am thinking...
about the choices people make. (I'm watching Heroes. It's an interesting commentary on society.)

I am thankful for...
having enough to be able to hire new employees and share our enough with others.

From the kitchen...
I am still eating out of the pantry and freezer. Even when we had company over this weekend, the only addition was some fresh corn from the store.

I am wearing...
black pants and a "Life is Good" t-shirt. Sunny side up!

I am creating...
room in my bookshelves by passing along books using bookmooch.

I am going...
to try and get to West Coast Swing lessons this month. It's been a while.

I am reading...
Managing with Power by Jeffrey Pfeffer. I haven't yet finished On Food and Cooking.

I am hoping...
that this week won't be too hectic as far as rent collection weeks go.

I am hearing...
the low hum of the air conditioner

Around the house...
I need to send out my Creative Memories things and my bookmooch books.

One of my favorite things...
is hanging out with G in the evenings.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
dance lessons, work, and finishing off the rest of Heroes Season 1.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Coming over from the Simple Woman's Daybook:

My older kids love Heroes but I haven't had a chance to catch it. But I enjoy a show that makes one think - as long as its not too preachy - I hate preachy.

It's not preachy, thankfully. It's an interesting commentary on how far people go for family, greed, the desire for power, and the desire to serve a greater good. It freaks me out a little here and there, but that could be because I have a tendency to watch it a little late in the evening...
